Book Review
I enjoyed this book a whole lot. I am rating it 5 stars because it’s enjoyable (and has no flaws), but I'm not even hesitant to start a new book. My mind is like, 'fun. another please.'.
This book is very unsurprising. I essentially knew everything that would happen from the beginning of it. It had a big Safe Haven vibe to it. However that’s not a bad thing, because the characters were new and enjoyable. I especially loved Archer and Bree. It just had the same theme of 'Left home because of something dangerous. Oh no it followed me here. I also met someone here who is pretty amazing.'
Archer was dealt a really bad hand at life, and he somehow came out of it being sane. Not only was he sane, but he was able to keep a pure and happy heart instead of becoming filled with hate and anger at the world.
Honestly I wanted to bash my head in the entire time he was at the strip club and the after math of it. I couldn't believe both he and Bree trusted Travis when they got bad vibes from him! If Archer needed to know about relationships so badly he needed to go to the library and use a computer! How have all the books he's read his entire life not taught him anything?
Bree was such a kind person and she was his perfect match. I'm still curious as to what her college degree was in, because it was mentioned multiple times.
Every moment of Archer and Bree together had me melting. Gosh! Where is my Archer?!?! Where is my book love!
I’m actually struggling with what to say about the book, because although I enjoyed it, I still found it normal with nothing quite popping.
Overall I’m happy I took the time to read it, and I would recommend it to others. I Bree this book.
