Book Review
Okay, so I bit the bullet and decided to continue reading.
My feelings in this book are better, and yet a bit of loss. I went into this thinking it was a trilogy, so I thought I had one more book after this. Once I learned this was the real end for their story I felt a bit jipped.
I finally felt comfortable with their relationship! I got into the groove of how they did things and it didn’t weird me out anymore and then its OVER!
This book was an improvement from the last one. Especially because this one did not use ‘he’ so much that I was confused as to who they were referring to. I did feel that there was a bit more drama in this one compared to the last one. Which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
There was a large growth in the characters and I appreciated that. I was a little eh with some of the descriptions. Like the things they were saying, ‘blah and blah are both blah! It makes me love them more.’ I was like, huh? Most people have that trait? It isn’t special.
Speaking of special let’s discuss Josiah. I-*sigh*. Josiah is not really special to me? To be honest I liked Mateo and Tristan way more. Now in the beginning I was very, ‘Excuse me! Josiah is yall’s first love don’t ditch him!’ I still stand by that, but I feel like the author did not give Josiah any depth. It was like he was just placed there to be perfect and everyone else was the issue. It made me not like him that much compared to the others.
That’s basically all I have to say about it! I will be rating this one a 4 as well. Not crazy in love, slightly addicting, and an easy read.
