He Came From the Wild By: Ellarose12 Book Review

Let me say first that the Writing Decency is a level 3!

This book was like no other werewolf book I have read yet. I have never seen a werewolf book where the character is living in the actual wild. I love books where they are in tune with their wolf and how they come off vicious and wild because they are part beast, but those types of stories are hard to find so it was really nice to find another one I enjoyed loads.

The beginning of the story felt long and drawn out but in a good way. Wattpad books typically jump right into the love and chaos. This book felt more like a published book in the sense that it took its time to build up relationships and we had to be patient. I love how realistic it was regarding Miranda trying to run multiple times and seeing Braydon grow and the difficulties he had coming back into society. It was nice learning backgrounds and it helped us have such a strong connection with our ship of Braydon and Miranda.

When it was discovered Miranda was not his mate I was furious. I was all here for the author being anti-normal werewolf books, but this felt like a low blow. That being said I will admit I cheated and skimmed the end to make sure he was with Andy before continuing. The reaction to Carolina in the comments had me laughing really hard. Here are some of the amazing gems I screenshotted ->

Miranda was a very inspiring character. She was strong, kind, and acted like an adult. That can be a rare thing to see in Wattpad stories since most authors are hooked on constant drama, but Miranda handled it beautifully (and wayyyyyyy too nice).

Everything just fit so perfect in the story from Braydon and the dog job to the pups being like Braydon that it didn’t feel set up. It felt natural and not like someone was typing this up because it’s what she wanted.

Jason was nothing important in my mind so he didn’t bother me. I wanted Carolina dead so incredibly bad however. I had no sympathy for her. I understand if your mate rejected you for someone you’d be devastated, but its very weak to be constantly begging them to be with you. Carolina was a weak wolf. She did not put the kids before herself, she was extremely judgmental, she thought she was at the top of the pedestal and no one else could be at her level, if you didn’t behave as her ‘normal’ you needed to be fixed, and she had no problems trying to undermine and rip a relationship apart. Everything about her is absolutely disgusting and I feel bad for anyone who gets caught in her pretty face and misses her horrible attitude.

Don’t even get me started on the ball scene, I could yell for ages.

The pack references made my heart melt! The epilogue had me feeling a million emotions seeing Braydon finally find his place, and how Andy’s world fit perfectly into his was touching.

Overall, I loved this book to bits. I would rate it an 8 on my Wattpad book scale. If it ever got published it would need work on the editing as well as expanding the story a bit, but that’s really it!

Can’t wait to read the others in the sorta series!
