Million Dollar Marriage By: Katy Evans

Book Review

This book was so fun! I love a good reality show, but even I know the romances are usually surface deep or fake. So the fact that this book was a reality show through a book, and included real romance? Incredible, amazing, genius!

The entire book was just a super fun whirlwind. The challenges helped keep me on edge the entire time. I will forever love the bootcamp challenge, it was so awesome to see Penny kick some major butt! The second challenge I loved was the little compatibility tests. I was surprised that they flunked the first one, simply because I thought it’d be the questions that Luke had read off of Penny’s test.

The relationship development between Penny and Luke was just as amazing as keeping me on my toes. I loved the slow build they had, and how their impact on each other changed them into having better strengths. Especially with how much Penny changed into becoming a confidant woman. The respect and care they had for each other was great.

Lets be honest. The reason Penny has debt? Ridiculous! Why she did all of that and didn’t care to ever get a job is insane. I have no idea what she was thinking.

Also another ridiculous thing is WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CEREMONY! SHE REALLY FELL FOR THOSE CAMERAS? HOW COULD SHE AFTER ALL LUKE DID AND SAID? I mean okay I get it. Being self conscious all your life and all of a sudden this amazing guy wants you yet gets money for wanting you? Wild. Even more so with everyone hating your guts.

That brings me to the evil Umbridge producer? Who knows what she is. All I know is that she was incredibly evil and I hope her cougar self loses the show. Hopefully the tell all book will make people less inclined to watch the show. At least the book helped save their butts with their debts!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful and a great way to end the story. 5 stars!
