Book Review
One of my favorite tropes in stories is a pregnancy trope. I absolutely love pregnancy or babies in books, because who doesn’t love babies!
That fact only made this book 5 stars. The storyline was well done and the characters had separate thoughts and emotions to them that I enjoyed a lot!
However. Yes, however. I am debating between putting this book at a 3 or a 4. The book was great! The whole cabin part, and how they were together was cute. Yet, it was not thought through and rushed.
It went from, ‘I hate this man’ to ‘I’m gonna jump his bones’, and after they get that all out they just start ignoring each other! For over a month! Then all of a sudden they’re great, but only for a little while because lets not forget the 5 month time skip of them being miserable. For real? Are you serious?
It just lowered the book from being great to good-ish. Honestly I’m so frustrated and annoyed that it turned so fast. I wish it was more thought out, and that it had more details in it.
With all that off of my chest, I’m decided to give it a 3. Man I’m sad about that, and I’m not sure it’s so fair since I did enjoy it, but I can’t keep throwing out great ratings for mistakes.
