You Know Me Well By: Nina LaCour and David Levithan

Book Review

This book was just....meh. I feel like I wasted a chunk of my life reading absolutely nothing?

I read this story via audiobook. Let me state that I can’t tell if I hate Kate or if her narrator’s voice was so annoying that it made me hate her. Either way, when I paired the voice with Kate’s thoughts and what she said it made me groan and hit my head. I mean really? It’s like everything needed to be grand and dramatic and nothing could just be simple with her!

Mark on the other hand I really liked. I found his character super likable and sweet. He is the only thing that made this book decent.

The storyline was iffy. It was extremely weak and had no climax or true end. It felt a lot like a tv show that got canceled a few episodes in. I didn’t gain anything from reading this book and that sucks.

I’m rating this 2 stars for dear old Mark!
